Abstract
This paper deals with possible catalytic and related phenomena on interface s of natural colloids or particulates which could proceed in Nature under a mbient conditions. The emphasis is placed on photocatalytic and photosorpti on phenomena on solid tropospheric aerosols which are assumed to make an im portant contribution to the global chemistry of the Earth's atmosphere.
