Abstract
Hepatotoxicity of cyamamezine, a phenothiazine structurally related to chlo rpromazine, has been rarely documented. We report here a case of acute symp tomatic hepatitis following a unique massive intake of cyamamezine in a sui cide attempt and discuss the mechanisms of such injury, Eur J Gastroenterol Hepatol 11:451-453 (C) 1999 Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
