Abstract
When created with electrophilic mCPBA reagent, dienes I were efficiently ep oxidized at the silylated 1,2-double bond exclusively. Otherwise, regiosele ctive cyclopropanation of the phosphonylated 3,4-double bond was achieved b y using the nucleophilic Corey's reagent. (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
