Efficacy of the micro-method for the assessment of neutralizing antibodiesfollowing vaccination/infection with rinderpest virus

Efficacy and accuracy of micro-serum neutralization test (micro-SNT) for ri nderpest antibody assessment in cattle sera with different immune status wa s studied. Correlation of micro-SNT with conventional tube SNT on similar s et of sera samples indicated the suitability of test. The technique could b e used more conveniently in selection of animals for challenge studies and detection of serum antibody levels in vaccinated and infected animals.
