The study of the thermal behavior of a building, submitted to variable atmo
spheric conditions, demands a study of the heat transfer phenomena in the n
onstationary regime. The aim of this study is to evaluate as finely as poss
ible the response of the room in the dynamic regime to indicial and harmoni
c sollicitations of the external temperatures. We have thus elaborated a ma
thematical model based on the Green's function theory for the evidencing of
the thermal inertia of the room from the resolution of the equation of hea
t propagation in the wall and the equation of thermal equilibrium for the i
nternal air of the room. (C) Elsevier, Paris.
