Abstract
Terpenoids 1 and 2 have been synthesized from readily available starting ma terials using Li2CuCl4-catalysed coupling of Grignard reagents with alkyl/a ryl bromides and microwave-assisted oxidation of allylic methyl groups, usi ng SeO2/(BuOOH)-O-t adsorbed over SiO2 as key steps.
