Abstract
Two new prenylated flavones, named artoindonesianin A (1) and artoindonesia nin B (2), were isolated from the root of Artocarpus champeden, together wi th a known prenylated flavone, artonin A. The structures of artoindonesiani ns A and B were determined on the basis of spectral evidence (MS, H-1 and C -13 NMR) and by comparison with known related compounds. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited cytotoxic activity against murine leukemia (P-388) cells.
