Abstract
The chemistry of dialkyl trioxides ROOOR (where R is alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl , or perfluoroalkyl) and their cyclic analogs-transannular ozonides and 1,2 ,3-trioxolanes (primary ozonides)-is surveyed. The synthesis, structure, th ermal stability, and reactions of these compounds are discussed.
