Abstract
Bulimic symptomatology was examined in 478 female college students who lived either on or off campus and who were sorority members or nonmem bers. Sorority women reported greater bulimic symptomatology than nons orority women. Feeling campus pressure to be thin and knowing women wh o binged and purged predicted greater bulimic symptomatology.
