Variability of Puccinia graminis Pers. esterase zymograms spectrum

The comparatible estimation of the esterase zymograms from urediniospores a nd uredinia of Puccinia graminis f. tritici, P. graminis f. secalis isolate d from different host plants, was made by FAG electrophoresys. The similarity of the esterase phenotypes from spores and uredinia was 94.4 %. But more esterase phenotypes were found in uredinia comparing to spores . It is supposed that P, graminis uredinia have more complex generic diversit y in comparison with the isozymes contents of the pure urediniospores of th e stem rust pathogens.
