Abstract
We report a 72-year-old patient who developed an isolated bilateral hypoglo ssal nerve paralysis following head trauma with complete recovery after thr ee months. Since the CT scan did not show any fractures of the posterior sk ull base, we discuss a traction nerve injury as a possible mechanism.
