Abstract
The small epiphytic liverwort Cololejeunea cardiocarpa (Lejeuneaceae) is re ported for the first time from New Zealand. It is a widespread species know n from the Neotropics with outliers in the south-eastern USA, Africa, and r ecent reports from New Caledonia and tropical Australia.
