The amplitude of the Coulomb blockade oscillations is calculated for a sing
le-mode Josephson junction with arbitrary electron transparency D. It is sh
own that a mechanism related to chiral anomaly completely suppresses the Co
ulomb blockade in ballistic junctions with D = 1. At finite reflection prob
ability, the suppression process is described quantitatively in terms of th
e Landau-Zener transition. [S0031-9007(99)09032-8].
