Abstract
Intensity of photoemission from La5p states and the valence band of La2CuO4 single crystals was measured near the La4d excitation threshold as a funct ion of photon energy for different polarization vector directions and emiss ion angles. Crystal samples were cleaved in situ so that CuO2 planes were p arallel to sample surface. It was observed that for different polarization vector directions the resonance photoemission (RPE) has different character , but it is not influenced substantially by emission angle.
