Abstract
Two known and five novel 9,10-dihydrophenanthrene derivatives, two orsellin ic acid derivatives and a lunularic acid derivative have been isolated from the liverwort Plagiochila spinulosa and identified following NMR studies. A further known 9,10-dihydrophenanthrene derivative has been identified usi ng H-1 NMR fingerprinting of the extracts. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. A ll rights reserved.
