Abstract
A new method was developed to isolate, as the hydrochloride salt, 4-hydroxy arginine from Lens culinaris seeds. The structure and absolute configuratio n of the compound were determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography a nd circular dichroism. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
