Vi. Bashmakov et Sa. Simanova, Peculiarities of electrochemical dissolution of multicomponent iron- and sulfur-containing alloys of platinum metals, RUS J AP CH, 71(12), 1998, pp. 2145-2150
The electrochemical behavior of Fe-PdS, Fe-Pt-S, Fe-Rh-S, and Fe-Ru-S alloy
s in sulfate-sulfuric acid solutions was studied in the potential range -0.
3...+2.4 V (s.h.e.) at 20 and 65 degrees C. The influence of the nature of
metal, phase composition of alloys, and the anode potential on the rate of
alloy dissolution, distribution of platinum metals between solution and slu
dge, and forms of occurrence of the metals in solutions and sludge products
was revealed.
