Abstract
We report the synthesis of his (beta-oxocyclopentyl)phosphine oxide, sulfid e and selenide by treating beta-dichlorophenylphosphine with two equivalent s of 1-morpholinocyclopentene. The present work extends our recent descript ion of a new route leading to the formation of beta-phosphorylated cyclanon es.
