Abstract
A range of novel Ct-symmetric dioxygen and dinitrogen ligands can readily b e obtained through the interconversion of the parent 1,3-diphenyl-1,3-propa nediol enantiomers which are, in turn, accessed in good yields via a Sharpl ess asymmetric epoxidative resolution.
