Abstract
Early in the preschool years beginning antisocial behavior problems are bes t described within a biopsychosocial model. Biological factors that influen ce antisocial behavior problems are sex, genetics, pre-, peri- and postnata l risk factors and the behavior of the pregnant mother. psychic factors on part of the child increasing the risk of antisocial behavior problems are i ntelligence, attention and social information processing, temperament facto rs, emotional regulation and impulse control of the child. Relevant social variables are child care and socialization practises as well as more distal social factors.
