Abstract
At the Holifield Radioactive Ion Beam Facility the hardware to produce and deliver the RIB's for nuclear physics and nuclear astrophysics experiments is in the initial stage of operation. The As-69 and F-17 have been delivere d for the first experiments. Presently intense research is in progress to i mprove the intensity of As and F beams. The Ga-63,Ga-64 beams and the Ni-56 beam in batch mode are in development plans.
