Abstract
Although we believed that the use of a polyester film drape for primary ele ctive open sternum with delayed sternal closure made it impossible to recor d precordial electrocardiograms on the drape, we confirmed that it is possi ble to record electrocardiograms on an iodine-impregnated drape due to the iodine anion electrical conductibility.
