The thermodynamic partial functions of the Li in liquid alloys were measure
d by electromotive force (emf) method of the concentration cell. The experi
ments were carried out in the temperature range from 777 K to 975 K and for
35 alloys differing in the concentration (from 0.025 to 0.725 and from 0.9
10 to 0.954 mole fraction of Li). Using the leastsquare method the temperat
ure dependence of emf's were described by the straight-line equation and ne
xt partial excess Gibbs energy, excess entropy and partial heat of solution
of lithium were calculated together with their errors. The temperature-con
centration dependence of excess Gibbs energy of Li, in the form of Redlich-
Kister equation, was worked out by the least square method. The Darken exce
ss stability (ES) and the Bhatia-Thornton (BT) concentration-concentration
partial structure factor Scc(0) were calculated and discussed.
