Abstract
The quark-meson coupling model for nuclear matter is extended to inclu de the a quark and to describe strange hadronic matter. In a mean-fiel d approximation, it is used to investigate the saturation properties o f multi-lambda hypemuclear matter. The results are compared with those given by the Zimanyi-Moszkowski model.
