Abstract
A systematic and logical approach fur laser hair removal demands an underst anding of its biologic and physical bases. This article presents an overvie w of hair anatomy and physiology followed by a mathematically nonrigorous r eview of tissue optics and thermal responses to laser irradiation. The read er is provided with a step by step approach to laser hair removal.
