The paper discusses questions associated with the properties of the formati on of the brightness signal, rising from water and recordable by a remote s ensor in sensing of shallow waters and of waters in conditions of a strong disturbance accompanied by the formation of foam. The paper studies possibl e ways of taking into account the bottom influence on the characteristics o f the radiation rising from the water and the increase in the albedo of a w ater surface under the influence of foam formations, in the solution of inv erse problems for recovery of water-quality parameters.
