Simplified multistage linear DS-CDMA receivers

The multistage linear receiver of Moshavi et al. was designed to approximat e both decorrelating and MMSE detectors by calculating a weight set using a procedure involving the inversion of a large matrix. Very recently, Lei et al. and Kim et al. proposed analogous simplified systems. The author propo ses a modified simpler receiver with fixed weights, exhibiting promising re sults for high bit rate hardware implementation.
