Abstract
The spectral density of intensity noise in individual modes as well as in t he total output radiation of a semiconductor laser under pseudorandom pulse d operation mas simulated for the first time. The influence of modulation a nd laser parameters on its noise properties is studied. The results present ed are in agreement with those obtained by experiments [5], confirming that the new method investigated here is suitable for the analysis of intensity noise in pulsed-modulated nearly-single-mode semiconductor lasers.
