Abstract
This tutorial paper examines the bandwidth behaviour of dominant-pole-compe nsated feedback amplifiers in a format suitable for most undergraduate anal ogue lecture courses and shows that gain-bandwidth independence is availabl e for many combinations of amplifier and feedback configurations. Two examp les centred on a voltage amplifier and a photodiode transimpedance amplifie r are included.
