Abstract
This paper discusses the results of an experimental study of a new method o f natural gas pyrolysis based on thermal decomposition in a flow of high te mperature carrier gas preliminary heated in the regenerative heater matrix. It has been shown that in this case the methane carbon is almost completel y converted into black carbon and no pyrocarbon is produced in the reaction volume.
