An amperometric dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6-based ion-selective electrode with
a hydrophilic membrane was used as a sensor for the determination of K, Na,
and Rb in flow-injection analysis. A comparison between the amperometric f
low method and voltammetry at the interface of two immiscible electrolyte s
olutions shows that the first method outperforms the second in both the sel
ectivity and sensitivity of determination.
