Abstract
Poly(2-vinylpyridine) (I) and poly(4-vinylpyridine) (II) supported chromium peroxide reagents are readily prepared and used as mild, efficient, select ive and easy to handle oxidizing agents for oxidation of benzylic and allyl ic alcohols.
