Abstract
The radiological study by panoramic and CT scan methods of the Neanderthal La Chapelle-aux-Saints mandible shows us that the mandibular canal very clo sely resembles that which we can see in modern man. The images obtained are of a good quality and can be utilized for the analysis of the internal str ucture of fossils.
