Abstract
The modeling of heat transfer during combustion of the intumescent formulat ion PP-APP/PER is studied. It is proposed a model based on the assumption t hat it exits an intumescent front analogous to the phase change process whi ch can describe the fire behavior of an intumescent material in conditions of forced combustion.
