Two interesting cases of male pseudohermaphrodites with gonadal tumors are
described. The first case was a patient with James-Swyer syndrome, XY pure
gonadal dysgenesis. Management of the dysgerminoma in the dysgenetic gonads
was done laparoscopically, The second patient was a phenotypic female with
dysgenetic male pseudohermaphroditism. In this case, laparoscopic removal
of dysgenetic gonads with occult seminoma was carried out. Both patients di
d well after surgery and were discharged the next day. Laparoscopy is a via
ble alternative method of resection of dysgenetic gonads with early Stage 1
A gonadal tumors.
