Abstract
We consider the Dirichlet problem for a class of nonlinear elliptic equatio ns whose model is -div(\del u\(p-2)del u) = \del u\(p) + g - div f. We give a priori L-infinity-estimates using symmetrization methods. An obstacle pr oblem for nonlinear variational inequalities is also studied.
