Abstract
Ferrites are used widely in power electronic devices operating in the kHz-M Hz frequency range. With such high operating frequencies, the magnetic skin effect could occur due to the induced eddy current and displacement curren t partial derivative D/partial derivative t. This note presents a simple me thod of observing this phenomenon using an ETD44 ferrimagnetic core.
