Background: Since the choice of interface plays a large role in the effecti veness of noninvasive ventilation, there is a need for information about wh at is available, how to make a selection, what to do when a problem occurs, and how to provide proper care and monitoring. Material and Methods: Here we will present some of the different types ol i nterfaces available, different problems presented by each, and guidelines f or making choices among them.
