The rates of ion exchange in an acid zirconium phosphate in the presence of
different sodium salts solutions and the diffusion coefficients were found
to increase in the sequences I- < Br- < Cl- and ClO4- < NO3- < SO42-; this
phenomenon was explained by different mechanisms of defect formation.
