Abstract
The Internet Engineering Task Force lists multicasting as a desired se rvice for our future mobile computing environment. To provide this ser vice, location management of a group of users involved in a multicasti ng application needs to be addressed. In this paper, we propose two pr otocols that can be used by a group of mobile hosts to share their cur rent location with other group members efficiently. (C) Elsevier Scien ce Inc. 1997.
