Foot prints and future steps of ozone applications in Japan

Although the first trials with ozone in Japan were made in the early 1930s, significant growth did not occur until 1960-1980. Ozone has been applied f or drinking water, wastewater, odor control, swimming pools, laundries and semiconductor manufacture. Recently, the Japan Ozone Association has formed a task force to address the Cryprosporidium issue.
