Abstract
1201 applicants for entry to the University of Tartu were given tests of ve rbal, reasoning and spatial abilities and of scholastic knowledge. Males sc ored significantly higher than females on all four tests and on the g facto r. The male advantage is estimated at 6.6 IQ points. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scie nce Ltd. All rights reserved.
