Abstract
The production of Y mesons in fixed target pN collisions is considered. It is shown that non-relativistic QCD predicts Y states to be produced with si zeable transverse polarization. The possibility of a measurement of the Y p olarization at the DESY HERA-B experiment is discussed. [S0556-2821(99)0890 9-2].
