Abstract
A novel moulding process has been developed for the production of curviline ar forms of thermoplastic materials. The process has been used with a gas p ipe grade of medium density polyethylene to manufacture right angled elbows of 63 mm diameter SDR11 pipes. These elbows have been mechanically tested and compared with commercially produced straight sections of pipe which wer e made from the same polyethylene resin as the elbows.
