Abstract
The synthesis and spectroscopic properties of [Ag-3(O3SCF3)(3)(PR3)(3)] (PR 3 = PPh3 and PPh2Me) are described and the trimeric nature has been confirm ed in the case of the PPh3 derivative. The X-ray crystal structure of [Ag-3 (O3SCF3)(3)(PPh3)(3)] shows that each triflate group is in a different coor dination mode and that there are two diastereoisomers in the asymmetric uni t.
