Using community-based research projects to teach research methods

In this article, eve describe the elements comprising a community-based res earch project conducted as part of an undergraduate research methods course and the project's positive impact on student learning. A community-based p roject provides a unique opportunity for students to learn the methodology of psychology, directly experience the research process, and make a signifi cant societal contribution.
