Abstract
The one-pot reaction of [{Cp*(OC)(2)R}(2)] (Re = Re) (3) with (BuC)-Bu-t dr
op P (4) and the subsequent oxidation with (Me3Si)(2)O-2 (5) affords [Re(CO
)(2)C5Me4CH2{mu-HC(Bu-t)P(O)}Re(CO)(2)Cp*] (6), a dinuclear rhenium complex
with a bridging and chiral phosphinidene oxide ligand. Its structure was c
onfirmed by an X-ray crystal structure determination.
