Abstract
Two new Myxosporean (Myxozoa) species Ortholinea gadusiae sp. n. (Ortholine idae Lom and Noble, 1984) and Sphaeromyxa opisthopterae sp. n. (Sphaeromyxi dae Lom and Noble, 1984) have been described from the urinary bladder of Ga dusia chapra (Hamilton-Buchanan) and gall bladder of Opisthopterus tardoore (Cuvier) respectively from the coastal water of the Bay of Bengal near Dig ha, West Bengal, India.
