Abstract
Two cyanogenic glucosides, prunasin (2-beta-glucopyranosyloxy-2-phyenylacet onitrile) and its malonic acid conjugate, pruasin 6'-malonate, have been is olated from the above ground parts of Lotononis fruticoides and L. aff. fal cata (Fabaceae), The compounds were identified by means of H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy.
