Abstract
A self-consistent mean-held theory for the two-dimensional spin-1/2 XY-Heis enberg antiferromagnet without long-range-order is developed. Within this t heoretical framework, the thermodynamic properties, such as the internal en ergy, specific heat and parallel susceptibility, are discussed, and the res ults are in rough agreement with the numerical simulation.
